sounds like a personal problem to me!
what year? the trans hump is the 'footrest' in my TF trucks - if yer tryin to drive w/ yer foot flat against the pedal, heel right against it and sole on it there's bound to be some reaction to body movement when you bounce on the seat - and your return spring might be
too strong so your tensed against it alla time
