if your talking bout the whole gosh dang dash it ain't going to come out i seen this on my 70 Chevy also but on the front top part of the dash where it meets the bottom of the windsheild it is spot welded to the windsheild frame atleast it is on my 70 don't know if your 65 would be the same or not
