I can understand air conditioning, and if you had a big honker steering wheel and a big gut, the tilt wheel would make it easier to get in and out if you could tilt it out of the way. Lowering, specifically 'slamming'.. just looks like a vehicle with busted springs, to me. To each their own.. I never understood why folks wore their pants backwards, or hanging around their crack, either. an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
