Thought I'd introduce myself. I'm an old duffer in Maine who happens to like old trucks. I have a '68 C20 swb factory dually with a 292 and a rock crushing 4spd, and an '80 C10 short step with a Vortec 350 and 4spd.
The '68 is a work in progress although it's totally drivable in good weather. The deck, sills, and racks are varnished oak. I've put polished Alcoa rims on it and air bags in the back. The cab and interior need a little tlc, but it's coming along.
The '80 is my daily driver (when it's not snowing) nothing special but runs good and looks good at 50 feet.
