You did not say what kind of mc you were using. Front discs should have a maximum 2# residual check valve while drums should have a 10#. If your mc/proportioning valve is intended for drum/drum instead of disc/drum, then you may well have binding. Verify that and that the correct ports are hooked up as part of your investigation.
