If you are in doubt about a good one, look for a wrecked vehicle. side impacts usually leave the motor in good shape. Big pickups w/smallblocks are often worked hard, but low milage wrecked donors are out there. sportscars can yield powerful mills, but are often high miles.. A full size car would be a good candidate.
