For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 227 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 227 | I decided to go ahead and adjust my pitman arm myself. I picked up a puller from Autozone and it came off fine. I have the gear box centered with the wheels but now I can get the pitman arm back on. I only pulled the end at the gear box and loosened the end on the draglink. any help here? i just hope i dont have to pull this all off and have it pressed on at a machine shop. any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated.
i have tried: hitting it with a hammer and putting a jack on it but im not getting an even amout of pressure on it. | | |
