#19628 11/01/2004 5:53 AM | Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 2 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 2 | Well I feel perty dumb...I mostly work on old ford trucks I'm not going to lie but I recetly got a early 60's chevy 3/4ton 4x4 thats full of rust with a strong drivetrain (except motor) that i'm gona be making in to a cab and chassis mud truck here the Q I'm working on the engine I perty sure it's a 292 but not positive it has a 4 speed tranny I'm pulling the motor and i cant find the bolts to sperate the tranny and engine wich is funny cause i'm not mechanicly chalenged....I think i found the top two but i've been looking every where and i cant find them can i unbolt the tranny fronm the engine and bellhousing and just pull them apart?? or can some one show me with a picture or give me a good description of where the bolts are? I've got a running motor waiting to be put in or i also have the 350 bellhousing for this tranny so i want this motor out can some one help this me... | | |
