Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 Extreme Gabster | | Extreme Gabster Joined: Oct 2001 Posts: 3,458 | I nearly cut off my left middle finger at the first knuckle when a pitman arm I was removing let loose on my Jeep and bashed my finger into the sharp edge of the oil pan. I know a stovebolt has a differant location on the pitman but watch out because they let loose really fast. It's best to leave the bolt on there loose until you get it loosened up so it doesn't pop off and kiss you in the mouth or something. A pitman arm makes a pretty good hammer.
