My 54 has had adapter plates since forever, Don't know where they came from...something my dad installed when he had truck. It also has 14" E-T wheels in a Dodge bolt pattern. Personally, I love the look. Gotta make sure that when you remove any lugnuts and studs come with, to put studs all the way in with locktight before starting nuts and it gets kinda expensive buying uni-lugs for 4 1/2" bolt pattern with 7/16" lugnuts, but such is life.
