It is heart warming to see our Vets getting support from the sane people of our country. As a Disable Viet Nam Vet for many years I knew better to put on a job application that I was even a Vet. It wasn't till the second Gulf War that I recieved my first thankyou for serving, And that and all others have been from current military servicemen, Who said they now appreciate what Viet Nam Vets Missed out on during their home comings. I am glad to see them so well recieved. I am just now learning to talk about my service. I presume many wounded will have the same challenges is adjusting. In many ways I prefer the jungles of combat rather than what they have to indure, door to door and road side bombs. Not sure I could have handled long deployments only to be redeployed again. And worse of all NO BEER. I guess it war has its own unique hardships, and life long pain. Give them support, it must feel good.
