I appreciate your input and the tip with the fork is a great idea. I am not opposed to bondo since I think it is easier to work with than lead. I am not worried about the outside appearance as much as the inside.. but then that's what upholstery is for and the wifee does that!!!
In fact all the input from everyone has just been great and I can't thank you all enough for taking the time to give some great feedback.. some positive, none really negative, just some some eye openers, reminders and things to make you think twice about what you think you really want to do here..LOL Keep those thoughts and letters coming.. anybody yet figured out a way for me to post a pic of the truck here on the forum or can you even do that??? I watch the forum daily for action.
Also.. point of interest for anyone.. does anyone know what guage steel this old trucks were made out of??? I know it's pretty thick!
