I dont ever put clutch head screws back in.. mostly because by the time I get 'em out they're too jacked up to use anymore! Flathead ("standard" ) screws do the job nicely. The bigger clutch head bolts, like they use to hold the rear fenders on, I replace with a standard hex head bolt.
Some cats are into the whole 200 point show truck resto deal, or just want their truck to be 110% factory original stock.. it all depends on what you're into.
There was a bolter on here who was looking for original clutch head screws.. I think he said he just needed the two or three for the drivers side vent trim.. he asked anybody who was gunna chuck the original screws to let him have them.
