Hi; My 1954 3100 'wanders' above 35 mph. It follows all groves in the road and sometimes sort of vears left and right for no apparent reason. I have checked the kingpins, tie rod ends, all of the stearing linkage and it's all tight - both with the wheels on the ground and off. I adjusted the toe in to about 1/4". There's about a ten degree play in the stearing wheel.
Is this typical? It's been a few years since I've driven a truck this old and maybe I've forgotten..
Any advice would be appreciated.
