There was a post quite a while back about the tractor companies (John Deere I think) making a break in oil. Probably a good idea--might want to check at a tractor supply. When I did mine, used 30 weight and chamged at 300 miles. Dropped the pan too and looked for metal. Changed second time at 1000 miles and then back to twice a year.
