Glad I found this site, I think it will be a big help while trying to restore my '52 GMC 3/4 ton.
I have a question on brake conversion kits. All that I have seen are for either a 5 or 6 lug hub, my '52 has 8 lugs. Do I need to change my hubs to one of these and if so where would be a good place to get them? I know this is altering rather than restoring but I think the safety outweighs keeping it original.
