Within the last month I went to my local Auto Zone up the street a few blocks and bought a set of front shocks for a 1952 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pick-up. They were Gabriel Red Ryder gas shocks. They look great. The guy put 1952 Chevrolet 1/2 ton pickup in the computer and bam - there they were! They had pins at the top and the bottom. I didn't check on the backs, but I bet he has them.
