I'm not for sure what sort of hubcaps a '60 uses.. but the earlier trucks (like the '46 thru early 50's trucks) need those little "square root" looking tabs on them for the hubcaps to clip on to.

If your caps just cover the lugnut area, then you probably need to have those "square root" tabs, too.

an idea is only stupid if you think about it rationally.
