Maybe I haven't dug deep enough yet, but can't seem to find out if 1951 1/2 tonners came stock with a spare. Were they an option? The truck doesn't have the "dented" fender, so that option's out. Looking underneath, it appears that there may have been something mounted there at one time, and I see that Chevy Duty carrys a "J" hook for 1947-53 AD trucks. Also, I discovered a folding crank with a square end, a 4-way lug wrench and a cast iron screw jack under the seat.
What do most of you guys do for a spare?
