The C.A.R.E. web page lists proposed legislation by state and also federal. Click on the state bills link then click your state on the map. There's also a US button on the map for federal bills pending. It also tells how to contact your legislators.
Like TooMany2count, you can join these organizations. Join a local car club, monitor these pending bills and when something comes up detrimental to the hobby let the club members know. Then everyone write your legislators.
