I just bought and had installed the 7.00-16s on rims that were really hard to find here.
I posted a couple of times regarding 15s vs 16s & was dead set on 16s for the diameter and the 'truck' look.
Did I go too far? I spent 10 hours at the local Uniroyal dealer waiting (and waiting) for spacers, longer bolts, etc. Right now the left front rim is still hitting if I make a sharp left turn. The right is fine. The tire guys showed me the play in the king pins & I'm going to have them replaced. They say that will fix it.
I love the way Wizzerick's truck looks with his new tires & after admiring his truck and tires again, read the posts & noted that red58 has 7.00 on 15s & so does rpmathis.
Is my tire too tall :confused: ? I really hope not because it sort of makes my truck look a bit like Jeff Nelson's which is they way my husband and I want it to look.
Mine is going in for some paint on Aug. 1st for about 3 weeks & $1,000 dlls. I'm going for something like Yukon yellow or the kind of yellow on the new X-Terra.
