95% of the people featured in TRJ wouldn't be caught dead in the attire you describe. The publisher, who spends all of his money making the magazine you love so much, probably couldn't even afford tassled loafers. Maybe you should buy your periodicals second-hand?
Personally, TRJ is an inspiration for me in many ways. I glady pay the cover price (not the Barnes & Noble price) as I know I'll keep them a lot longer than the regular magazines the accumulate monthly.
