After finally getting my truck home ('50 or maybe '52 chevy 1/2 ton, not really sure yet) last week, we had some time today to get our hands greasy. Replaced the carburator with a rebuilt one I had, and with a little bit of starting fluid shot down it's throat, it started right up! From what I understand, before I bought it it had been sitting for about a year and a half. Needless to say, we took several rides around the block!
Even got my wife to take a ride! She was laughling and having a great time. Now I think she understands ...
Anyway, all the kids (I have 5 boys) piled in the back and around the block we went again! It was great.
