Just bought a 70 Chevy Shortbox Stepside with a 6cylinder and 3 on the tree. Would like to put V-8 with automatic in it someday.Right now I am wanting to know what year donor pickup do I need to find for Power Steering,Front Disks Brakes and also want to put a tilt steering wheel in. I know I need a different colunm for the auto transmission anyway but what years will transfer to this year pickup without alot of hassle. Some have told me just 67-72 and othersw say up to the earlier 80's will bolt right up. Anybody have any ideas for sure on this.
