Don't let anybody scare you away from it. Where has it been sitting? Sitting in a field, garage, or driveway? If the truck is complete, you are looking at mostly labor. You can fix almost everything yourself on old Chevy's. Pull the plugs & soak the cylinders. Go back tomorrow & see if engine will turn over. If yes, it's worth it. Someone you know would be glad to help. Just ask.
