I used Minwax polyerathane on my 70 stepside & don,t really like it. Even though it was clear it darkened the wood. I have used linseed oil on old weathered ones & it sealed up real good. I,m going to try deck preserver on the one i,m working on now. Has anyone used that. These are old slightly weathered bedwood.
