You can use the cab from 1948 through 1953 without any modifications and 1947(2nd)(gas tank location) - 54/55 (cab mounts)with minor modifications. The cabs are the same for 1/2 ton - 3/4 ton - 1 ton. 3 window cabs are more plentiful and 1 ton cabs can be a better find due to their limited use on the farms. 48 -49 and 50 cabs have the drivers side vent and no vent windows (the doors can be changed to the 53 style by changing the door strikers/catches on the cab.) There are some small details that differ from some of the years but will not matter to most. I have seen several cabs on ebay and a few in florida, keep your eyes out for them and a little patience you will find one close by. Good luck .......g
