Eastwood makes a high temp clear coat called "Diamond Clear" and they say it is "Gloss Clear For Bare Metal Surfaces and is Fuel Resistant, Heat resistant to 350F, and Non-Yellowing Formulation" This may do the job. I purchased this Diamond Clear to coat my Offenhauser Intake manifold after I bead blast it, but I have not done it yet, so I do not know just how well it is going to hold up.
