Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2000 Posts: 424 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2000 Posts: 424 | '39 pickup rear fenders are about 1-3/8" wider than '40-'46 pickup rear fenders due to the difference in box width. Bill is looking at a fender for his '40 Suburban, which uses a different fender than the pickup. The Sub./panel/canopy express rear fenders are the same from 1939-46. What you have to watch out for is there are many NOS panel truck rear fenders floating around from 1937-46 BIG panel trucks with 20" tires. These are pretty common (the military maybe stocked a ton of them?), but do not fit the 1/2 and 3/4 ton panel trucks. The bigger panel fenders are longer and have a larger wheel opening. I bought a couple big panel truck fenders before I learned.  | | |
