For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 75 Member | | Member Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 75 | I'm trying to figure out why no grease will go into my zerk fitting on one king pin (53 3/4 ton). I've replaced the fitting, but the path seems to be blocked (??). Is it possible the pin can be inserted in wrong angular position, somehow blocking grease path?? I'm not sure if these pins are original or have been replaced by a PO but seem to be in good condition as far as any play/excessive movement. Other side takes grease easily. Ideas and advice appreciated.
