Roger Penske tried all day to land at that same airport but it was socked in with weather and fog and he couldn't land. They apparently have no equipment for instrument landings. Rusty Wallace said he couldn't get into the airport last week to test either. He tried with both his plane and his helicopter.

Ricky Hendrick was Rick Hendrick's son. Kimberly Hendrick and Jennifer Hendrick were John's twin daughters, [censored] Tracey and Liz Morrison were the pilots, Jeff Turner was the VP and General Manager of Hendrick Motorsports. Randy Dorton was an engine builder for the company.
