Not much info on the truck.
That VIN is not actually a VIN, although it is used as a VIN. That is an engine number, which was frequently used back then as VINs. It is from a 1949 216 engine, out of a sedan delivery. Hopefully you will find that number on the block just behind the distributor. If not, you may be in trouble, as it is no where else to be found on the vehicle.
Trucks back then had serial numbers, on a plaque, I believe yours should be on the firewall. But the serial number was not stamped into the frame or anywhere else on the truck.
