Hi guys. I'm looking at a pair of axles out of a 1990 blazer to swap into my 61 apache 4x4. The pinions are badly worn in my truck. Lots of free play and side to side movement. The front axle is the original 10 bolt, but the rear is not original. Its a 10 bolt as well with a smooth, round housing.
So my question is this-
The blazer front axle has crossover steering...will that even work on my truck? and if not, does anyone have a good pair of original axles for my truck? I'd like to have discs, but I don't mind drums as long as the axles are strong. A good 12 bolt rear would be nice. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Oh, btw, I live just 20 minutes east of Dallas, TX.
