64bowtie - you cut a section outta the frame between the back of the cab and the front hanger of the rear spring - try to pick spots away from any cross members and make an angled or 'stepped' cut, so the weld isn't straight around the C channel - can be done so the only holes you may need to drill will be for bed mounts - hafta run new brake lines to the rear [shorter!] and get the e-brake cables for a shortbed - also may need to nip the rear of the rails a bit, I fergit easy these days grin
