Turkey, sweet potatoes with tequila and lime, mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, spinach salad with cranberries and arugula, home-made salsa, wine from South Africa, Tibet and Austrailia--we're still munching--not to mention pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and apple pie.
Dinner for twelve (Irma's two sisters and brother in law visiting from Kahliforkneeyah, Ken and Amanda Ziervogel, Logan and Rhona Pillay, Donald and Marlene Cheng and Denise Pobanz all from Cedar Park) and quite a collection of nationalities, languages and wonderful folks celebrating Thanksgiving. That is what Thanksgiving is all about.
Irma started the turkey at 6 AM, Sandra, Billy and Patsy (the Kahliforkneeyahns) helped make stuff, I tried to keep up with the diswashing and counter cleaning, and we all had a great time.
Tony, if you showed up here, don't try that stuff about "I stubbed by pore toe!" You'd be wishin' that was all that you had stubbed!
