I can remember when I got my 1971 D100(Brazilian built, like the 1962 and up U.S. built version) with its single master cilinder brake system, while driving her home the brakes gave up at a traffic light. Nothing scary happened, but after a while I did changed the whole system to a dual circuit, which at least makes me feel a li'l better about the truck brakes. After that I came twice for single wheel brake failure, and always managed to bring the truck to a full safe stop.
