For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 72 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 72 | Hello, I put a front disc upgrade kit on my 49 1/2 ton GMC, and a rear end from a 77 GMC with drums. I want to go power brakes and want to know the best route to go? I see you can buy a master cylinder with booster that bolts right into the stock position and allows you to use the stock pedal. They mention though that you might need to replace the transmission member. I already have a small block V8 and the tranny from my 77 truck in the truck. Is this tranny member going to get in the way? Thanks.
