This sounds funny, but I think it'll work:
I want to find an old classic radio for my 64, even though it won't work. I'll clean and polish it, and install it. The trick though, is that I have a CD and FM radio mounted under the dash. I can then talk to some of the Electrical Engineering kids up at school, and get them to rewire it, making the controls from my "classic" radio head down to the FM/CD. Of course, it won't directly match everything, but most things it should. (if not, I can just reach under there and push it)
