There are truck discussions and then there is small talk. Both can be pleasant. Many people want both on this forum. If you don't, it is pretty easy to judge what a thread is going to be about by the title. That is why they call it a "title". If you don't like the title, don't click on the thread.
But, it seems like some people want things their own way so much that they will whine and complain every time they can. or worse yet, purposely post to these threads and try to make them go to outlawed subjects like religion and politics.
If you don't want off topic subjects, just don't click. If you are about to post an off topic subject, make it clear in the title so we don't bother the purists that want to live without smalltalk, humor, weather and anecdotes.
JMO, don't read it if you don't agree.
