I get 21 to 22 mpg with my 62' i/2 ton chevy truck with 235 ci six. The addition of a 3 speed overdrive to my truck helped a lot. I have a 390 rear end and keep the truck tuned up . A lot has to do with the way you drive and staying within the speed limit!
