For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 57 Member | | Member Joined: May 2003 Posts: 57 | After 2 years of false starts, I've got my 65 C10 long fleet stipped to and including the firewall, engine and trans out.The front clip has been disassembled for sanding/painting. The front end and frame have been mostly scraped. There's a 76 van auto column (non-tilt) heading in as soon as someone can help me get pointed in the right direction. My question is,can I swap out the longer original steering shaft or am I heading to the machine shop to do a proper cut and add job that will be SAFE?? I'm working towards a modernized daily driver that will look original to most and be fun to drive.
65 C10 292/700R4 long fleet...Gettin closer by the day.
