Most of the standard suppliers stock parts for the 1/2 Ton and almost ignore the rest. I would guess that he doesn't really know if he doesn't have the details. Most of the conversions that I have read about, for power steering with the straight axle, use a PS steering box from a Toyota truck or something similar. They have to cut the steering shaft, provide a mount,install a bearing in the tube, and install a universal to mate with the box. Also, a new Pitman arm in used too.
