Jim, good luck with the rehab. We want to see you here for a long time to come so go easy and don't let some overzealous tech push you too hard.
I think you should put the P/S in it as soon as your ready. Do whatever it takes to make it more comfortable. Remember they don't give merit badges for suffering with less modern amenities.
If it was me I'd be driving that Corvair - everywhere!
