Replace both gears logic can go beyond noise. I had two sets side by side - a Sealed Power and a Cloyes, both for the 250. The teeth were on different angles and one would not mesh correctly with the other. It was only a few degrees, and on the table it was easy to see, but they were close enough that you COULD assemble it.
Then do it all over again in 30 minutes of running.
