thanks spanky. by the way. before i left i told you guys about a "cannonball" jimmy that a buddy of my wanted me to see. i found it, and the owner. he walked up to me as i was looking at it, fired the thing up, and drove away. the 238 sounded sweet as the guy wound the thing out between gears. as to the question of whether it was for sale, i got a smile, a "no thanks", and he stated it was a working truck, belonged to his dad, and he just plain liked it. it was gone before i could get back to my pickup and get the photos i wanted.
another thing spanky. the old gmc with the hand crank ernie holmes on it is still there, but i haven't been able to find the owner. it's located in waverly indiana, which is a pretty good ways from the house. i will try to get back there.
