Mike - What ever you do, make a plan and stick to it. It costs more money if you change your mind mid-stream and decide to go a different direction.
I did about the same thing 235 Fat Fenders did, a souped up 235, 3.55 rear, dual master & different seat, add a nice paint job and left the rest stock. Not quite finished yet but getting close.
