The '67 - '72 frame has the same long control arm rear suspension that is still used on NASCAR race cars. That suspension has not been put on a Chevy truck since '72. The front suspension was carried over on pickups until about '87 or '88.
I'd bet with little work you could put a '69 on a '87 frame. But they aren't much different, so the question remains what are you trying to accomplish that would justify all the work?
