I don't doubt this question hasn't come up about a half dozen times, BUT my wife don't let me come in here very often and I missed any previous discussion. SO -
My 1.5 ton does NOT have a Polarity Reverse Switch (PRS)on the starter. It is a 6 volt. But when I turn it over, it grinds VERY slowly, even with a new battery on full charge. I have 3 ground straps, 1- Cab to frame, 2- Starter to frame, and 3- Neg battery to frame.
MY QUESTION IS: Will adding the PRS make it turn over faster??
