Bill the small Cherokee is a XJ, a YJ is the CJ replacement?
We've had 3 used Cherokee's,one that ran forever,one that would breakdown going around the block and the Current 96 Cherokee that runs reliable so long as I throw some cash at it once a year.With a 4.0 5 speed ,it's pretty snotty,good inline 6 noise when ya wind it up.
