Acetyline is definitely out- - - -all it will do is melt a big, sloppy groove. The oxygen jet doesn't cut cast at all. I'd suggest getting a gas-engined cutoff tool, the thing that looks like a chainsaw, but uses a big abrasive wheel. With that distance and thickness to cut, you'll go through several wheels, but you'll get a clean, relatively narrow groove. If it's any of my business, just what are you trying to cut?
